Tragic accident that occurred on August 15 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Carlos Joaquin Plata was injured in a four-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70. The accident occurred when an eastbound semitrailer crashed, rolled, and spilled large pipes across both sides of the interstate near Ward Road. The pipes crashed into a car, which was headed west. The family was traveling to the mountains. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
