Brandy Leon tragically lost her life in a multi-vehicle accident when a Mazda struck the rear of a Chevrolet. Moments later, the Chevrolet was rear-ended again by the GMC, causing the Chevrolet to catch fire. Brandy Leon died at the scene. The driver of the Mazda, Matthew Phoenix, was charged with driving while intoxicated and manslaughter. He was subsequently taken into custody. Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
