Brandon Ortiz was injured in a fatal three-vehicle crash along Interstate 90 when a Lexus that was speeding was unable to stop and struck a pickup truck. A flatbed tractor-trailer and a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup truck were stopped in traffic due to construction on the Thruway. The Lexus went airborne and overturned multiple times. The pickup driver, Brandon J. Ortiz suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accident remains under investigation by state police.
