Bobby Jenkins was tragically killed in an accident with a suspected drunk driver near North Miami Avenue and Northwest 108th Street. The crash occurred when a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Carlos Fabian veered into oncoming traffic and hit a Hyundai sedan. The Jetta then hit Jenkins’ motorcycle, causing both vehicles to burst into flames. Sadly, Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators on the scene said that Fabian had bloodshot and watery eyes, and his breath smelled of alcohol. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and faces several charges, including DUI.
