Ashley Marie Monroe Involved In Watertown, MI Accident

Pedestrian struck on S. Wacousta Road

Tragic accident that occurred on May 18 in Watertown, Michigan. 14 people were injured after Ashley Marie Monroe allegedly slammed into them as they walked along the shoulder of S. Wacousta Road. 15 people, including six children, were walking together when Ashley, who is believed to have been drunk, crashed into the pedestrians. She then fled without regard for the victims. Thirteen others were hospitalized from the accident. Six were reported to be in critical condition. Monroe was stopped by deputies several miles from the crash site. She was arrested and booked into Clinton County Jail on multiple charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims.
