Antonia Orosco was arrested in connection with a head-on collision that claimed the life of a 20-year-old Mendota woman. According to the California Highway Patrol, Orosco, was westbound on Highway 180 in a Honda Sedan when he crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic and collided with the Acura. The driver of the Acura – a 20-year-old woman – was pronounced dead at the scene. Orosco was taken to the hospital with major injuries. He was arrested by CHP on suspicion of driving while impaired by drugs. The collision remains under investigation.
