Alexis Torres-Velez Killed In Crystal Beach, TX Accident

Two Entergy workers struck on Highway 87

Tragic accident that occurred on June 5 in Crystal Beach, Texas. Alexis Torres-Velez was identified as one of two Entergy workers who were killed when they were struck by a motorist while working at a substation along Highway 87. Both Entergy employees were pronounced dead after the accident. One of the victims was later identified as 52-year-old Alexis. The driver remained at the scene to cooperate. The district attorney will review the case to determine if charges will be filed. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
