Tragic accident that occurred on March 25 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Alexis Batres was injured after being hit by a vehicle off southbound Interstate 35. Alexis was working on the bridge embankment off the roadway of southbound Interstate 35 when he was hit by a Dodge Avenger that left the road. Authorities believe the driver of the Dodge, a 17-year-old Minnesota resident, fell asleep at the wheel before the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
