Four-vehicle accident on Woodlake Parkway leaves pregnant woman injured

A tragic accident occurred on Feb. 19 in Bexar County, when Alexander Diaz Mendoza was charged following an alleged DWI accident at Woodlake Parkway and Binz-Engleman Road. Authorities said a pregnant driver was seriously injured after Mendoza allegedly ran a red light at high speed; she later miscarried. Mendoza faces aggravated assault charges as the investigation continues. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim and her family.
