Hit-and-Run Crash on Oceanside Boulevard Near El Camino Real

A tragic accident occurred on September 25 in Oceanside, California, when a man was fatally struck by a pickup truck. Around 10:20 p.m., a 2020 Ford Ranger traveling eastbound on Oceanside Boulevard near El Camino Real hit the victim, who sadly died from his injuries. The driver, 65-year-old Yolanda Orozco of Oceanside, was later found at a nearby home and admitted involvement. She was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, with DUI and other charges expected. Authorities confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
