Two pedestrians killed in suspected DUI crash on Colfax Avenue

 A tragic accident occurred on April 12 in North Hollywood, California, when Vidal Cruz Jr. of Pacoima was arrested and booked at Van Nuys Jail on two counts of murder following a fatal crash on April 12 in North Hollywood, CA. Police said a man in his 30s and a woman in their 50s exited a stopped vehicle and were struck by a speeding driver on Colfax Avenue, north of Calvert Street, around 2:25 a.m. The victims died from their injuries.
