One killed, four injured in alleged DUI crash on San Marin Drive

A tragic accident occurred on April 11 in Novato, California, when Nico Vargas was killed in a single-vehicle crash on San Marin Drive near Simmons Lane. Authorities said a vehicle carrying five teens struck a utility pole around 1 a.m. Vargas, a passenger, died from his injuries, while four others were seriously injured. The juvenile driver was taken into custody. We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
