Suspect accused of fleeing crash after running red light at Main Street intersection

A tragic accident occurred on April 21 in Santa Ana, California, when Michael West, 29, allegedly ran a red light at Main Street and Santa Ana Boulevard, causing a collision. Authorities said he fled the scene after the crash. The other driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. West was later apprehended and charged with felony hit-and-run.
