Jesus Leon Declared Brain Dead After Irvine, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on January 19 in Irvine, California, when Jesus Leon was declared brain dead following a hit-and-run on the 5 Freeway. Leon and his wife were struck by a white BMW with one headlight that fled the scene, and then hit by another vehicle. Leon was hospitalized and later declared brain dead. Police continue to search for the suspect. A GoFundMehas been created for his family. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
