Man arrested after fatal pedestrian hit-and-run

A tragic accident occurred on September 6 in Bakersfield, California, when 36-year-old Guadalupe Hernandez was arrested after a pedestrian was killed. Police said a white Ford pickup struck an unidentified woman crossing South Union Avenue around 7:51 p.m. and fled. Hernandez admitted driving the truck and was arrested on charges including hit-and-run causing death. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
