Gavin Mundschau Arrested in Bakersfield, CA Accident

Charged after fatal DUI crash at California Avenue and Chester Lane

A tragic accident occurred on June 28 in Bakersfield, California, when Gavin Mundschau allegedly ran a red light and struck a BMW at the intersection of California Avenue and Chester Lane at about 12:06 a.m. Authorities said the BMW driver later died at a hospital. Mundschau was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
