Christina Torres Arrested Woman Killed in Visalia, CA Accident

Crash on Riggin Avenue under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on December 13 in Visalia when a woman was killed after an SUV crashed into a telephone pole on Riggin Avenue west of Akers Street. Police said the passenger was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 38-year-old Christina Torres, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The Visalia Police Department Traffic Unit continues to investigate the crash.
