Seven students hospitalized after DUI crash

A tragic accident occurred on December 10 in Anaheim, CA, when 27-year-old Anthony Alva-Palafox drove a red Toyota Corolla into eight teenage members of the Anaheim High School track team waiting to cross Harbor Boulevard at North Street. Seven students were hospitalized, with five released and two still receiving treatment. Alva-Palafox showed signs of intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The investigation is ongoing.
