Struck by Jeep Grand Cherokee on El Evado Road

A tragic accident occurred on February 7 in Victorville, California, when 92-year-old Roman Veloza Panitan Sr. was killed after being struck by a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee on El Evado Road just north of Dos Palmas Road around 7:15 p.m. A female pedestrian walking with him was hospitalized with major injuries. The SUV driver remained at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
