9-Year-Old Ashton Burris Killed In El Cajon, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 14 in El Cajon, California. 9-year-old Ashton Burris died several days after being seriously injured by a car on Rios Canyon Road near Kelli Lane. Authorities said a northbound 1991 GMC Sierra struck Burris while he was crossing the road. The 9-year-old was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital, where he passed away. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
