A tragic accident occurred on November 18 in San Diego, California, when 89-year-old Lucy Prewitt Starkes, driving a Volkswagen Jetta, was critically injured after colliding with a Ford Excursion. She was hospitalized at Scripps Mercy Hospital and later pronounced deceased at Hillcrest Medical Center. Authorities continue investigating.
