89-Year-Old Deloris Bennett Killed In Walton, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 14 at around 4:39 PM in Walton, Georgia. 89-year-old Deloris Bennett was tragically killed when the minivan she was a passenger in was struck by a car that turned in front of it on Highway 138th and Guthrie Cemetery Road. A Honda Civic traveling east attempted to make a left turn in front of the Honda Odyssey that Bennet was a passenger in. The civic was then struck on the right side by the front of the minivan that was unable to avoid the vehicle. Bennett was taken to a medical center where she sadly died a day later. The accident remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
