88-Year-Old Rita Buhl Killed In E. Greenbush, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 9th in East Greenbush, New York. 88-year-old Rita Buhl was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Columbia Turnpike and Phillips Street when she was hit by a car. Buhl was shifted to Albany Medical Center, where she later succumbed. Authorities said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be the factor behind the incident at this time. The investigation into the wreck is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
