88-Year-Old Barbara Smith Killed In Woodford, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 27 in Woodford, Illinois. 88-year-old Barbara Smith lost her life when the vehicle she was a passenger in collided with another vehicle along U.S. Route 24.  Smith was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle that collided with another car near Woodford County Road 1700. Smith was transported to OSF where she was pronounced dead. The cause of the accident remains under investigation and no further details were released.
