A tragic accident occurred on July 10 in Lubbock, Texas, when 87-year-old Burl Trotter was killed in a two-vehicle crash at Farm-to-Market Road 179 and Farm-to-Market Road 2641 around 4 p.m. Authorities said a 19-year-old driver allegedly ran a stop sign and struck Trotter's vehicle. Both drivers died in the collision. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
