A tragic accident occurred on February 7 in San Jose, California, when 87-year-old Mai Nguyen was struck by a northbound vehicle in the area of Capitol Avenue and Longford Drive around 6:20 a.m. She was transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The driver fled the scene. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
