Elderly woman fatally struck in parking structure on H Street

A tragic accident occurred on July 22 in Chula Vista, California, when 87-year-old Agustina Acosta was struck by a pickup truck in a parking structure in the 300 block of H Street. The vehicle was rounding a corner around 11:30 a.m. when it collided with Acosta. She was taken to a hospital but later died from her injuries. Authorities said drugs, alcohol, and speed were not factors. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
