86-Year-Old Peter Heaton Killed In Desert Hot Springs, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 13 in Desert Hot Springs, California. 86-year-old Peter Heaton tragically lost his life after being hit by a Jeep near a bus stop at Palm Drive and Hacienda Avenue. The Jeep driver did not stop at the scene. Tragically, Heaton died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Shortly afterward, authorities apprehended the suspect driver and arrested her on suspicion of hit-and-run causing death. Investigation into the accident is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
