83-Year-Old Helen Daniel Killed in Angelina County, TX Accident

A tragic accident occurred on November 18 in Angelina County, Texas, when 83-year-old Helen Daniel was critically injured as a passenger in a Kia Sportage on U.S. Highway 69. The vehicle was exiting a private driveway around 9:45 a.m. when it failed to yield and was struck by a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe. Daniel was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
