A tragic accident occurred on July 9 in Bakersfield, California, when 83-year-old Larry Tombow was struck by a westbound vehicle while in the roadway on Panorama Drive at about 9:18 p.m. Authorities said Tombow was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene, and the accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
