82-Year-Old Nora Scott Injured In Joliet, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 19th in Joliet, Illinois.  82-year-old Nora Scott was injured in a three-vehicle crash along Interstate 80. A disabled tractor-trailer was on the side of the road when an eastbound cattle hauler traveled off the roadway and collided with the disabled truck. The semi continued and struck a white 2003 Honda coupe. Seven of the cows died in total and local farmers on horseback helped round up the remaining cows and get them hauled to storage. Scott, the diver of the Honda, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The driver faces charges of driving under the influence of drugs and was issued citations for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
