81-Year-Old Ruben Agbayani Killed in Bakersfield, CA Accident

Elderly man dies after vehicle collision

A tragic accident occurred on November 17 in south Bakersfield, California, when 81-year-old Ruben Diza Agbayani was struck while riding a three-wheel bicycle near Belle Terrace and Butler Road. Agbayani was transported to Kern Medical and died from his injuries on November 22. A white Mercedes-Benz hit him, and the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
