81-Year-Old Ed Ashman Injured in Lake Forest, CA Accident

Pedestrian critically injured in e-bike hit-and-run near El Toro High School

A tragic accident occurred on April 16 in Lake Forest, California, when 81-year-old Ed Ashman was injured after being struck by a 14-year-old on an e-bike at Toledo Way and Ridge Route Drive. Authorities said the teen fled the scene but was later arrested. Ashman was taken to hospital in critical condition. A GoFundMehas been created to assist with medical expenses. The investigation is ongoing.
