Collision involving sanitation truck on North Main Street proves fatal

A tragic accident occurred on May 1 in Weatherford, Texas, when 80-year-old Aurelio Padilla was killed in a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a sanitation truck in the 900 block of North Main Street. Authorities said Padilla died at the scene. The driver of the sanitation truck was not injured. The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting with the investigation.
