Passenger dies in two-vehicle collision on East Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on March 24 in the Denair area, California, when 80-year-old Rosa Renteria of Delhi was killed as a passenger in a Honda sedan after it was struck by a Chevrolet pickup on East Avenue. One of them, the Honda’s driver was also seriously injured. The pickup driver, a 17-year-old from El Dorado Hills, suffered minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
