A tragic accident occurred on April 1 in South Park East, Los Angeles, California, when 80-year-old Onesimo Flores was struck and fatally injured by a hit-and-run driver while walking in a marked crosswalk on Avalon Boulevard near East 49th Street. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. Authorities continue investigating the crash. Anyone with information is urged to call LAPD at 213-486-0760.
