80-Year-Old Bill Baker Killed in Covelo, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on October 12 in Covelo, California, when 80-year-old Bill Baker was fatally struck by a vehicle on Highway 162 near Poonkinney Road at about 7:59 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota 4Runner driven by a 20-year-old Covelo woman hit Baker and fled the scene.
