79-Year-Old Loraine Hector Killed In Flatbush, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 13 in Flatbush, New York. 79-year-old Loraine Hector was struck and killed by an MTA bus at Glenwood Road and Flatbush Avenue intersection, only about 500 feet from her home.  Hector suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. NYPD officials were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
