79-Year-Old Helena Conti Killed In Queens, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 17 at around 5:53 PM in Queens, New York. 79-year-old Helena Conti was tragically struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver at the corner of Cooper Avenue and 83rd St. The victim was struck by a blue Sedan that fled the scene after the collision. Conti was rushed to a local hospital where she tragically later died. The NYPD is actively pursuing the hit and run driver and anyone with information is asked to please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
