79-Year-Old Aracelis Castaneda Killed in Phelan, CA Accident

Passenger dies after late-night collision at Sheep Creek Road intersection

A tragic accident occurred on May 20 in Phelan, California, when 79-year-old Aracelis Castaneda was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a crash at Sheep Creek Road and Dos Palmas Road. Authorities said the collision happened shortly after 10 p.m. Despite lifesaving efforts by paramedics, Castaneda was pronounced dead at the scene. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
