Pedestrian dies after being struck in crosswalk on East Palm Canyon Drive

A tragic accident occurred on April 29 in Palm Springs, California, when 78-year-old Thomas Diguette was struck by a vehicle at East Palm Canyon Drive and Cherokee Way. Authorities said he was hit in a crosswalk and taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The driver remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
