78-Year-Old Maria Rosario Sanchez Killed in San Antonio, TX Accident

Crash caused by speeding stolen Camaro

A tragic accident occurred on July 17 in San Antonio, Texas, when 78-year-old Maria del Rosario Sanchez was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving a stolen car and a shuttle bus. Around 2:45 p.m., a Chevrolet Camaro slammed into the bus on southbound I-35 near Leon Creek, causing it to overturn. Sanchez, a passenger, died at the scene. The Camaro’s occupants fled. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
