78-Year-Old Bruce Towler Injured In Urbana, OH AccidentThe accident remains under investigationPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Monday, February 8 at around 2 PM Urbana, Ohio. 78-year-old Bruce Towler and his passenger were seriously injured after they were involved in a head on crash in the 2300 block of North US 68. 22-year-old Gavin Stanley was driving a Honda Accord, when he crossed the centerline for unknown reasons. He crashed into the Towler‘s Dodge Ram pick up, causing it to spin off the highway and roll onto its side. They both had to be extricated from the truck and taken to hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known. The accident remains under investigation by the Champaign County Sheriffs Office. Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene.
