A tragic accident occurred on April 21 in San Marcos, California, when 78-year-old Olimpio Rodriguez Cervantes was killed after being struck by an SUV in the 1900 block of W. San Marcos Boulevard. The incident happened shortly after noon. Cervantes was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene. Anyone with information may call 760-510-5200.
