77-Year-Old Bonnie Coffey Killed In Hudson, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 1 in Hudson, North Carolina. 77-year-old Bonnie Coffey was killed in a multi-vehicle accident when a pickup truck pulling a boat was traveling south on U.S. Highway 321 and crashed into the back of another truck. This caused the second truck to hit a third car and the utility trailer of a fourth vehicle. Police said the driver who began the crash suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. Bonnie Coffey, a passenger in the second truck, succumbed to her injuries. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
