76-Year-Old Martha Avila Killed in Katy, TX Accident

Vehicle crashes through home on Rose Hollow Lane

A tragic accident occurred on June 19 in Katy, Texas, when 76-year-old Martha Avila was killed after a Tesla Model 3 crashed through a home on Rose Hollow Lane near Westgreen Boulevard and Highland Knolls at about 8 p.m. Authorities said the vehicle left the roadway and struck the residence at high speed while Avila was inside. She was flown to a hospital but later died from her injuries. The driver was also hospitalized. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
