76-Year-Old Darlene Scalf Killed in East Oakland, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on July 13 in East Oakland, California, when 76-year-old Darlene Scalf was struck by a vehicle while crossing in a marked crosswalk. The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at Fruitvale Avenue and East 27th Street. Scalf died at a hospital. The driver fled the scene but was later arrested.
