A tragic accident occurred on August 4 in Pacoima, California, when 76-year-old Gloria Vasquez, was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver near Osborne and Haddon streets. She had been walking her dog, who also died. The suspect fled the scene but was later arrested and booked for felony hit-and-run causing death.
