75-Year-Old Edward Sparks Killed in Bellmead, TX Accident

Pedestrian struck on Interstate 35

A tragic accident occurred on January 19 in Bellmead, Texas, when 75-year-old Edward Sparks of Waco was killed in a pedestrian collision on Interstate 35. Authorities said Sparks was struck by a northbound GMC Sierra around 7 p.m. near milepost 339 while attempting to cross the highway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was uninjured. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
