Laramie Ave. The Chicago Police Department reported that a driver lost control of his car after striking another vehicle, subsequently hitting Mr. Wells, who was crossing the street at the time. Mr. Wells was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead. The accident is under investigation by the Chicago Police Department major accidents unit.
